Authentic Russian food. We tried borsch. khachapuri, pirozhki, vinegret salad & banana pie, all food was delicious.
The proprietress and her son were very friendly and speak some English. I had the borscht and a chicken & mushroom cream dish baked under a pastry dome (sorry I can't remember the name). Both were delicious. Highly recommended.
Excellent impression of the atmosphere and menu of the restaurant. Cozy establishment with a wonderful owner of the restaurant. The dishes are delicious, a large selection. I really want to come back. Thank you.
I visited with a friend on a Saturday night at around 5pm. The restaurant wasn't crowded and had many spaces left. There was live music playing as well. We ordered the 2 person set which includes many dishes and Russian tea as well. You can pay by card also, but there was something wrong with their internet when we visited. The owner was super nice and we had a nice chat with her also. It's a nice place to enjoy a conversation.
The best of Russian restaurant in the city for me. The owners were so nice to us, and helped explain the menu and how to eat it kindly. Reasonable price for the original Russian food in home cook style.
Really great place, borscht is really tasty, and has baltika beer! Approved by a Russian! :)
I love the warm and homey atmosphere of the restaurant, emanating from not only the hearty flavors of the food but also from the interior and people. The owner, Nina-san, is such a kind-hearted and open person, and the dishes cooked by her son and chef is exquisite. Even though I’d never really grown up eating Russian food habitually, the flavors of the dishes evoke a feeling of nostalgia. The 4000 yen meal course for two is super reasonable in terms of cost-performance. The quantity is ample and the quality is superb. My personal staples are the Pelmeni and borscht; my father’s favorite was the smoked “saba” (mackerel). I also loved how the piroski wasn’t fried but baked, since I’m not really a fan of greasiness. Definitely coming back for the warm taste of Russian food <3
